In each class we will cover one to three new plants as well as the following topics: Topics Covered: Plant Identification – Learn to recognize common medicinal herbs and understand their characteristics and native habitats. Medicinal Uses of Herbs – Discover the healing properties of herbs and how they affect different bodily systems. Formulations – Craft infusions, decoctions, tinctures, salves, and tea through guided preparation techniques. Safe Use & Ethics – Understand use benefits and risks, potential interactions with medications, and ethical considerations in herbalism. Practical Applications – Hands-on remedy making with a focus on real-life uses for everyday ailments. Herbal Remedies for Everyday Health – Create and use simple recipes for everyday health and herbal first-aid formulas.
