My name is Jamelle, and I am excited that you're here!.

I am a Lifestyle & Behavior Change Coach, and a practitioner and teacher of the Energy Healing Arts. I founded Bare Roots Energy Reiki & Meditation Center here in Lawrence, KS, in 2019, and specialize in fine-tuning my own expression for creation and harmony, and teaching others how to do the same for the experience of their dreams, desires, and requirements.

Even though I have practiced energy medicine and whole-person wellness since my childhood, studied and taught the intricacies of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm as an educator since 2008, and coached clients in life-changing movements, I do admit that I haven't shared much about my story and why I am so passionate about the work that I do. 

 

But, I do know that there are a lot of people who experience these same symptoms, who also want to move past them, and who can benefit from the strategies and healings that turned my life around!

I am here to help those people do just that!

It's hard to believe how many of us struggle with anxiety and depression, and a sense of being lost, but none of us are alone in it. I know firsthand what it is to struggle with the presence of these mountains in my life, because years ago, this struggle consumed my everyday.

I know what it's like to wake up with cripling fear and worry, starting every weekday with a sense of dread and nervousness, and sometimes even panic attacks. I know what it is like to bury myself in bed without the ability to move, and it got so bad that I would lose days of family time, freedom, productivity, and fueling events. 

I know how hopeless, scary, pointless, and painful it can be to watch life pass you by, feeling like there is no hand to reach out and offer help.

And I also know what it's like to be on the other side of it.

I know now how to shape my thoughts, my days, my projects, my plans and goals, and my life into

an experience I enjoy living. Instead of waking up into a state of stress, I now wake up into a state of momentum and contentment, ready to move forward with the day's tasks and challenges. 

Where I used to go to bed reviewing all of the things in my day that I couldn't control, trying

to remedy the world's problems, and check in on my mental to-do lists, I go to bed in a state of gratitude,

Taking care of my whole-body health in preparation for a healing sleep. 

The best part is, I know that I have the power to create these results for myself every morning, noon, and night. What's even greater than that is that I get to facilitate and guide my clients to do the same!

And, I want these kinds of results for everyone struggling with limitations in their life.

That's why I do the work that I do, because when we all feel better, we can do better, achieve more, live happier, and create a world that works better for everyone.​

Through my work, I connect with individuals to understand their needs and dreams, and together we forge a path and plan to create a platform of healing and growth for them to springboard from. When we approach both trauma and goals from all four sides, the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, we can better see all our options as well as what we have yet to heal from to realize our dreams. My favorite part of working in this field is getting to know those I work with deeply to help them fine-tune their journey with the unique tools they need. Along with Personal Coaching and Healing, I also offer courses in the Energy Healing Arts and Plant-Based Medicine, and certification programs for Energy Healers in training. Aside from my degrees in Special Education and Education Theory, I have trained as a Master Reiki Teacher and Healer, and as a High Priestess in the New Earth Priestess Studies with the Celestial Forest Institute. I am a Master Teacher and Practitioner of Usui Reiki Ryoho, Holy Fire Reiki, and Dragon Reiki; an Advanced Practitioner and Teacher of Source Light Infusion Therapy; an Advanced Practitioner of the Crystalline Consciousness Technique; a Behavior Change Coach; a Plant-Based Medicine Consultant; and a Special Education Teacher.

For the Wandering Priestess:

The New Earth Priestess Journeys provided life-changing momentum for my well-being and helped me to reshape myself into my true form after years of ignoring my heart, mind, body, and soul. I am humbled and honored to be a New Earth High Priestess trained in the Nicole Christine New Earth lineage, always working to be one of the women who hold the container of healing for this planet. Through my experiences and formal training, and from my heart, I provide healing services, coaching, and conduct ceremonies of the Soul to help each individual I work with remember their inner tools, strength, and power. I serve as an Animal Death Doula during times of transition for the Animal Kingdom, and I provide coaching programs for individuals, including entrepreneurial coaching and mentorship programs, training programs, Meditation Coaching, and Healing Circles, online and here at my studio in downtown Lawrence, KS.
